1. The Prize
There is one prize available to be won consisting of a 7-night All-Inclusive resort vacation to the Dominican Republic with Transat Holidays and
Expedia Cruises for two (2) people travelling before June 30, 2024. Room restrictions and travel blackout periods will apply. The prize includes airfare,
hotel transfers and double occupancy in standard room accommodations. The vacation must be booked directly with Expedia Cruises in Barrie located
at 181 Livingstone St. E., Unit 11, Barrie, ON. The tour operator used must be Transat Holidays. Maximum value of the prize is $3,000 CAD.
Gratuities, airport transfers, seat selection fees, baggage fees, passport renewal fees, class upgrades, additional fuel supplements, pre/post vacation
hotel accommodations, resort excursions, airport and departure taxes, insurance, non-included beverages, specialty restaurant fees, resort charges,
casino gaming, spa treatments, internet fees and any other purchases of a personal nature are the responsibility of the prize winner and their travelling
companion. The winner and traveling companion will also be responsible for obtaining all necessary passports and travel documentation.
Prize fulfillment is subject to availability and to any restrictions of the selected tour operator.
The prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as offered, as there will be no substitutions and no cash equivalent, and cannot be used as partial
payment toward a different vacation package. Travel must be completed by June 30, 2024.
By claiming the prize, the selected entrant waives the right to claim any cost of winning the prize including, without limitation, any and all costs of
verification and redemption or travel to redeem the prize and bears in full any liability which might arise from redeeming or seeking to redeem the prize.
In the event a selected entrant cannot travel on the designated dates, that entrant loses their prize and any rights therein. No correspondence will be
entered into except with the selected winning entrant.
2. How To Enter
No purchase necessary.
Enter to win by completing an official entry ballot received from a Sun Emporium staff member and placing it into the draw box provided.
Ballots can be awarded on multiple visits.
Ballots will only be distributed from March 1, 2023 to March 31, 2023.
3. Selection of Winner – Eligibility
A random draw will be held on April 3, 2023, from all eligible entries received and the selected entrant will be notified within 72 hours of the draw. The
chances of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.
Before being declared the winner, the selected entrant and travel companion will be required to sign a Release Form, confirming compliance with the
contest rules and acceptance of the prize as offered, and releasing the participating sponsors and their respective employees and agents from any
responsibility for any injury, accident, loss, damages, misfortune or expense resulting from the use or enjoyment of the prize.
If the selected entrant is unwilling or unable to comply with the contest rules within two weeks of the draw, the selected entrant will be disqualified and
another entry will be randomly drawn from the remaining eligible entries received.
In order to be declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical, time-limited, skill-testing question posed at a
mutually agreeable pre-arranged time.
Contest is open to residents of Canada (excluding residents of the province of Quebec and areas where prohibited by law) who are 18 years or older.
Employees of Sun Emporium and the employees or independent consultants of Expedia Cruises are not eligible to win.
4. Waiver of Liability
Winner agrees, except where prohibited, that Sun Emporium and Expedia Cruises in Barrie may use the winner’s names, picture, portrait, likeness, and
voice for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation.
By entering, entrant agrees that Sun Emporium and Expedia Cruises in Barrie, as well as the Companies’ affiliates, partners, advertising and promotion
agencies and suppliers and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability for, and shall be held
harmless for and against any damage, loss or injury that may arise in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or
misuse of the prize (and any travel related hereto) or participation in this contest.
The Companies makes no warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use of prize or any travel awarded.
